A pure pop-punk delight. I can’t say I’ve gotten to see her in concert, but it looks like she puts on a great show. If you need a pick-me-up, I’d definitely pop on some of her music.
One day, I was driving my niece somewhere. I don’t remember where. She was about 4 at the time, so her social life wasn’t exactly hopping. I thought she’d fallen a sleep, so I kept the music low as I drove (I mean, I’m not a good enough aunt to turn the music off altogether). Ida Maria’s song “I Like You So Much Better When You’re Naked” came on, and a peal of uproarious laughter erupted from the backseat. “She . . .she . . .she likes NAKED PEOPLE!” my niece gasped between giggles.
I had some explaining to do when I returned her to her parents that day.
